Default drill to detail in excel xp - 12-02-2003 , 02:16 AM






Hi everyone!

I have a problem with showing details in client. I enable drillthrough in Analysis Services and I have no problem viewing details. Also I have no problem viewing details in Proclarity, but when I make Pivot table in Excel XP I get message: Cannot show details for this selection.
When I look at table options, the checkbox 'Enable drill to detail' is checked but disabled.

What can I do to see details in my Pivot table?

Uros,

option Enable drill to detail is disabled if the source data is from OLAP ->
your case AS.

There is sample VBA add-in code that allows OLAP drill-through from
Excel Pivot Table cells - it has been discussed earlier on this group.
