Default AS Display Formats in Excel Pivot Table - 03-17-2005 , 10:17 AM

Has anyone been able to get the display formats in AS to pull into an Excel
Pivot table automatically? For example, if I set the display format of a
measure in AS as $#,# it gets pulled into the Excel Pivot table with no
format. Is there a way to get this to work?

Thanks!
Melinda

You can set some properties to do this on an Office XP (or later) Pivot
Table Component - I'm not aware of a way to do this within Excel itself:

The Microsoft Office XP PivotTable component supports two undocumented

allow you to use server formatting for cells and totals in a PivotTable
