We have a business requirement to have dimension names on reports coming back as > 24 characters (which is not permitted by AS2K - except via DSO - which is ugly and has many risks) or to be able to show a different name for a dimension on the Grid to what is in AS2K. So our dimension name: Owner.Bus Desk Hist would become something like Historical Owner By Business Desk or re-labeled from AS2K on the way to become simply: Owner By Desk We are using 3rd party front-end grid (ProClarity Web) which does not seem to provide the ability to achieve this or to use (for example) the description field in place of dimension name. At the moment, the API returns only the Page HTML as a string, limiting my options to a search/replace. Has anybody dealt with this issue or can anyone suggest a better way? |

Hi Rui, I suspect it's not going to be possible to do what you want, although it looks like the 24 character limitation doesn't exist in AS2005 if you want to wait for that...
