All the dimensions of my cube share the first two levels which are
time dependent. For example, our product and provider dimensions are
structured this way, respectively:

Year > Month > Product Category > Product Name
Year > Month > Provider Group > Agent Name

This is because we need to keep track of dimension data (as it
changes) to be able to generate reports exactly the same as in
previous dates. This way, when a product is moved from one category to
another, we are able to generate previous reports as they were seen
before changing de products category.
All the proclarity reports are pointing to the last year and last
month of each dimension by using MDX's LastChild function. The problem
araises when a user wants to navigate to previous historic reports,
because he needs to change every dimension being used in the report,
one by one, making it a tedious and slow process.

Is there a way to improve this by selecting the year and month in one
dimension and updating the others automatically? Does someone knows a
workaround to this situation?
