Hi.

Wondered ifanyone had experienced problems with the Analysis Manger when
creating a Shared Demension. I'm new to this, so maybe its a know fault or an
error on my part.

We have a simple dimension linking a Policy table to a reference table to
get Policy Status (ie Live, lapsed, cancelled). The reference table holds
more than those status but the link by Ref_id's should only return the 3
values.

When I view the Dimension data via the Browser the data displayed is
incorrect (as in the data returned isthe whole Ref Table rather than the 3
values) although the count on Meta Data screen gives the correct count. Also,
when the dimension is used in a cube the right data joined.

Hopefully someone can explain, or I can provide further info. Running SQL
Server 2000 Enterprise, SP3a for both server and Analysis Services.
