Default DIM Security - 11-26-2003 , 01:25 PM

Does Dim secirty have no affect if you are an admin on the
AS server? I have restricted excplitly denied access to
the IT AD group to a DIM yet we can all still see the dim.
Is this because we are admins on the server?

Yes - machine Administrators are by default also OLAP Administrators, and
therefore security restrictions don't apply to them.
