Default Developper on a domain, AS2005 server standalone... how to communicate? - 12-04-2005 , 09:48 AM

Hi,

My dev station is on a Win 2003 domain.
my AS2005 server is a standalone server not include in any domain (test
server)

I can't deploy my database from Visual Studio to AS2005
I setup the same login/password on the target server, I can do this, but
there is any way to prompt the developper for a login / password?
the HTTP access appear to not support the deployment process.

thanks for your ideas.

jerome.

Sorry. You must have trusted domains for the normal wizards. You have a few
workarounds. First, you can try the old NT matching username-password
backdoor. If you have the same username and password on both systems, many
of the NTLM-only security validation routines work.

Second, you could save out your changes as xmla scripts as text files and
then move them around the network and execute the xmla scripts separately.

Hope that helps.
