Default Derived expression in Yokon - 01-13-2005 , 07:14 AM

Can anyone help me out with a Yuokon AS query?

MeasureExpression in measure properties does not seem to allow if statements anymore. How so we arrive at a conditional derived expression now?

thanks

You almost certainly assumed that new Yukon feature "Measures Expressions"
is substitute for the calculated measures. It is not. If you want to perform
calculations before processing - you can set those calculations in DSV, if
you want them after processing - you can create calculated members.

Mosha,

I also asked MeasureExpression at beta newsgroup.

What you mean is MeasuresExpressions is not Derived Measure nor Calculated
Member? Then what is it?

If you have more information on it, could you give me?
