Default [DBNETLIB][ConnectionOpen (Connect()).]SQL Server does not exist e - 08-12-2004 , 08:27 PM

Hi,

One of my clients is having an issue trying to transfer an OLAP cube from
his ERP system. When he tries he get error message
[DBNETLIB][ConnectionOpen (Connect()).]SQL Server does not exist or access
denied

He has SQL2000 and Analysis Services on SP3a.

For some reason he can run the process on one workstation with full SQL
Server and AS installed but only if SQL Server Agent is running. If he stops
the agent he gets the error there as well.

Clients are members of OLAP Admin group on server and have full access to
the bin folder under the MS Analysis services folder on the server.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Michael
