Default Date Calculation Guidelines - 06-26-2006 , 02:57 PM

To summarise the guidelines that I found necessary to get my date
calculations to work (in conflict with the structure generated by Add
Business Intelligence Time Calculations)
1. Put the Dimension Calculated Members on a completely different dimension
to any date dimension where the formulae apply.
2. Put the Dimension Calculated Members with an Attribute Hierachy as the
parent (not a User Defined hierachy)
Now those formulae can be used as both filters and row headings on MDX
reports and get the correct answers. I believe this is a bug in SSAS 2005
(the same formulae worked in AS 2000)
Anyone found the same problems?
