Hi,

When I try to connect from my desktop to the olap server thru the
Analysis MAnager, I am getting "CANNOT CONNECT TO THE REPOSITORY ....
DATASOURCE NAME TOO LONG" error.

I have searched this group for CANNOT CONNECT TO THE REPOSITORY. I
have found a lot of hits; but none of them matched the problem that I
am facing.

In fact it was working for the till the day before yesterday.


- None of my colleagues are having thie problem
- I am an OLAP administrator too
- I have rebooted both the server and machine; no use.
- I have installed the latest MDAC from MS web-site; no use
- my OLAP Repository is already a SQLServer database.

The only option I am left with is to re-install the Analysis Manager
on my machine.

Please help!!
