I have a Data Source View in my Analysis Services Project (2005) project.

Now, I want to enable reporting on it.

Is there any way to export/copy/use that Data Source View in a Report Model
Project ?

I haven't found a way.

In Report Model projects, you can view the text of a Data Source View, but I
can't view the text in the Analysis Services project...

Do I have to recreate the entire Data Source from scratch?

Hi Glen,

Welcome.
As for the vs 2005 Analysis Service project and ReportModel projects, they
manage the DataSource and DataSourceViews through the .ds and .dsv files.
So if you want to use the same datasource or datasourceview configuration
in new Report Module projects from another existing Analysis project, you
can consider using the Add Existing items and choose the .ds or .dsv files
from disk, the project will copy and include them in self ....
