Default Data Analyzer color scale window incorrect behavior - 11-08-2004 , 05:12 AM

Problem with Data Analyzer & Analysis Server 2000.

I think there is a problem with the windows that should allow you to
set absolute values for the color scale in data analyzer.

I've never been able to use it effectively, and it's always an
embarassment when I show the tool to end users.

There is a little window where the user is supposed to insert three
values (min, mid and max) so that the color of the bars is set
accordingly to the values chosen, but is seems that there is no way to
set the values.

I'm experiencing two incorrect behaviors:
1) When I click on one of the three values, the other two are reset to
the same value
2) When I click on one of the three values a zero is appended at the
end of all the three values.

Has anybody experienced the same problem (may I dare to ask if anybody
found a solution?)

Andrea

Hi Andrea,

I click on Min value, set value, then click on Mid and Max value and set
value an then I close the window (cross in right upper corner) Color Scale
and all is OK.

But if I change this color scale, save Data Analyzer view and then I want
this view. Data Analyzer open this view with bad color and show this message :
"Cannot open view. Either the view does not exist or it is not a valid view."
