I am responsible from the technology side for driving forward business intelligence, reporting and dashboards in our organization. Any experience out there on the best way to proceed? We are doing an ERP implementation (which apparently has some cubes of its own) and currently have a home-grown Data Warehouse pulling from legacy systems built in SSAS 2005 with SSRS 2005. Our vendor recommends Q4Bis but with MS purchasing ProClarity we just don't know. We need a good model to distribute information widely, beyond just the Finance department and analyst community. Perhaps we can accomplish what we need with just SSRS, SSAS, our home grown cubes, the ERP's cubes and a bit of elbow grease? |
