Default Custom sort PivotTable Field List for OLAP data? - 05-23-2006 , 02:40 PM





Is there any way to custom sort the dimensions and/or measures of my
OLAP (MSAS 2k) cube as exposed in the PTS field list in Excel (2003)? I
have 15 measures that would be much more intuitive to my users if they
were sorted/grouped logically rather than alphabetically. Thanks.

short answer: you can't

the pivottable display the measures ordered, no choice.
