Default Cubes going off line - 10-26-2004 , 12:35 PM

I have a cube with five shared dimensions. These shared dimensions are used
in three different cubes.

I've found that when I process the shared dimensions, the cubes go off line
until they are reprocessed.

Is this expected, and is there anyway I can get around it?

Much thanks in advance!

If you do a full process of a shared dimension then any cube with uses that
dimension goes into a "not-processed" state. This is normal and expected
behavior. When you do a full process, the physical structure of the
hierarchy can change radically. This makes any subtotals pre-calcuated
wrong -- which forces a full process of the cube.
