Default Create Dimension from a Named Set - 12-02-2003 , 09:09 AM

Hi all

Is it possible to create a dimension(private / public)
from a NamedSet??

The reason why i want this is:
I created a named set that orders the exisiting dimension
(Descending) based on the values of the measure. Now i
want to use this named set for creating another calculated
measure instead of the original dimension.

Will be pleased to provide details in this regard

Thanks in advance

Thanks Tom

I was just trying to use a named set in the calculated member editor,
but somehow I was unable to use it. so just thought of whether it is
possible to create a dimension from a named set so that i can use it in
calculated member expression.

Will be pleased to provide further info about the issue if called for.

Thanks and regards
