Default Create a custom server based time dimension. - 05-08-2006 , 03:53 AM

Can I create a custom server bases time dimension? If I can, whats the
solution for this?
I need to create besides a normal year a educational year.
An educational year starts at the 1st of august and ends at the last of
July.
Does someone have a suggestion how to resolve this?
We have got a time dimension in the datamart, but we prefered to use a
server based dimension.

No, you can't really customize the server time dimension to add something
like this...

But you can use the BI wizard to create a table in a SQL data source that
you can add your own columns to it.

Thanks,
Akshai
