Default Create .cub with VB from relational database - 10-27-2003 , 05:40 AM

Hello, I have a relational database that I would like to build a local cube
..cub file
from. Is it possible to do this programmically everytime the user opens up
the
application and then use that local cube with OWC? Or in other words, can
you create
a .cub file similar to the way you could create a .txt file etc?

If yes, any pointers to information? Books? Simple sample vb application?

Thanks in advance,

language (DDL) that is used to provide local online analytical processing
(OLAP) functionality. This downloadable file provides a working Microsoft
Visual Basic sample application with illustrative code that you can use to
create Local, Global, and Session cubes. Localcube.exe runs on Intel-based
