I have problem when process analysis service on IBM X346 EMT64

Server(IBM server X346):
Xeon 3.6GHZ * 2 EM64T
6GB Memory
C DRIVE - 15GB HDD
D DRIVE - 50GB HDD
E DRIVE - 400GB HDD

Software:
WINDOWS 2003 SERVER ENTERPRISE EDITION
MICROSOFT SQL 2000 ENTERPRISE 32(bit)VERSION with SP4
MICROSOFT ANALYSIS 2000 SERVER with SP4

Problem:
When I processing cube everyting is ok until write aggreation step ,cpu
will be slow down ,when you look at Performance Counters on the SERVER,
the machine is
idling during the process, CPU is at 1%, memory slowly goes up,
harddrives
are doing nothing.

today I have the same issue on a simple P4 processor
the problem appear when I aggregate data based on a virtual dimension.
my cube is simple (1 millions of rows), and a bigger one (20 millions of
rows) takes less time on the same computer.

its a random problem related to specific aggregations, because the same cube
with less agregations works fine.

Try to process your dimensions (full rebuild) before processing your cubes.
