After installing SQL Server 2000 / Analysis server on Win 2003 OS. Users (NT
domain account) is added to OLAP Admin group. But user is not able to login
-- gets following error:

" Your permissions on the server computer do not allow you to adminster this
analysis server".

They are just trying to register OLAP server. Any ideas and pointers are
greatly appreciated.

Do you have the same level of service pack on the client machine as on
the server? This can sometimes cause this issue.

Also you can check if the user can access the following UNC:
\\<Server name>\MSOlapRepository$

I have seen some situation where AD group policies remove rights to this
hidden share which meant that users could not administer the AS server
remotely.
