Hi all!

Another problem in here that I wanted to ask. I'm currently
implementing the dimension security I did for my cube. All NT
users/clients that would connect to the cube can access it based on the
security I assigned. But when I tried to connect to it using a laptop
with Windows XP Home Edition, it cannot locate the cube. I already
added the laptop's username under a certain user group without any
restrictions, thus, its function is that of an Administrator.

Given are the two cube roles I did:

a. Area Security - Users assigned to this role can only view specific
area under their management.
b. Corporate Security - Users assigned to this can view all levels
without restrictions.

My problem only worked when I added NETWORK group under Corporate
Security. Thus, Area Security role is ignored. All users under on the
network can fully access the cube.

Why can't the laptop access the cube? Is there any limitation on using
Windows XP Home Edition? Do anyone has a solution for this? Please
help...
