Default Components needed for OLAP Tools - 02-19-2005 , 08:21 AM

On my work machine I'm running applications I'm creating using adomd.net
without any problems.

When I run this same application on a machine I got at home it cannot
connect to my olap data source (offline cube file or analysis server). Some
connection error that the server could not be found.

On this machine I installed SQL AS (with sp 3), adomd.net, vb.net

I guess I"m missing some components that I do not know about. Where can I
get a list of all components needed, and so on?

Kind Regards

ps. Is there a more "friendly" and helpfull adomd.net sdk help file out
yet? the one i got with adomd.net is pretty technical.

Look in the file redist.txt in the SQL Server install folder. It tells you
most of the dependencies.
