Clustering and KB 308023

Default Clustering and KB 308023 - 07-22-2004 , 05:17 AM






I have an active/passive cluster running Windows 2000 Server and SQL Server 2000 and would like to install Analysis Services onto this setup.

I have looked the KB article 308023 to see what to do and found a small problem with the steps 'Add domain OLAP administrators to NodeX OLAP Administrators group'.
The servers in my cluster are both domain controllers and therefore I am unable to login locally and access the 'Local Users and Groups' from Computer Management MMC - this is controlled by 'Domain Users and Computers'.

Can you please tell me how these steps should be carried out for such a configuration?

Running Analysis Services on a domain controller has issues with it. You
