Still on the issue of GL Accounts. If you have an account
DIM how do you suppress the accounts that belong on the
balance sheet from those that should be part of the income
statement. The FoodMart sample Account DIM is obviously an
in come statement. But what about the balance sheet
accounts. Like owners equity and assets etc. How can I
give the user two ways to view the financial information?
Create another DIM hierarchy?

This can be handled on the front-end (depending on the front-end) or the
back-end. The back-end approach consists of:
1) create 2 virtual cubes
2) apply dimension security so that 1 of the virtuals displays only Income
accounts, and the other only balance sheet accounts.
