Default changing data sources - 08-11-2003 , 04:07 PM

Hi all,

Can someone please tell me how I can change the data
source of my dimensions without having to recreate
them?

I only have the option of selecting tables from the data
source I originally created the dimension with. For some
reason I am unable to switch tables from a different data
source.

Thanks in advance.
Jason

If you change the entry in "data sources" you don't need to reprocess the
cube until new data is added (in molap). However, you can't mix two data
sources in one cube. Dimension tables should be from the same data source
the cube is.
