I have a AS database containing several cubes and two database roles. Everything has been working well, but now when I add or remove users to the role changes are not saved. From AS manager it appears to work, but from a seperate instance of AS manager, either on another computer or on the same computer the changes cannot be seen - the user permissions do not change.

On the same server changes can be made to the foodmart database, and when I restore the database to another server the same problem is seen. So it appears that something has gone wrong with the database.
