Hi everibody,

after many month of perfect function of all the process,
today, my Analysis Services had crashed compiling the
cubes.
This is the message returned from the error
log: "RECORD=1, ERROR=CANTCONVERTDATA, COLUMN=9,
NAME=QtaPPBgt; Ora:9/16/2003 5:10:16 PM"
It's clear that I have checked the data and it's all
correct.
I had tested the same configuration (same database source
and same olap database) on another server and it function
correctly.
Someone can help me ?

Hi,

I have seen this several times it's a typical non English problem. You
should make sure that the regional settings of the user who is doing the
processing is the same as the local's of the Analysis server. You got a lot
of times ENG servers (locasl) with ENG Analysis installed and you are
trying to process it then with a user with Italian regionals settings, it
can have conversion problems in that case. Don't forget to check the
account that is running as the service account and maybe the account that
you use to schedule.
