Default "Can't open clipboard" error in Windows Server 2003 ... - 08-01-2003 , 08:43 PM

Hi:

I'm trying to run the DSO in Windows Server 2003. I got error message "Can't
open clipboard" while doing the aggregation part. Any one have a hint for
such error? It does not happen in Windows 2000, or in Windows XP.

Thanks

Hi,

The partition analyzer uses the clipboard exclusively, this is by disign of
OLAP. If you got problems with this do I suggest to not use actions that
use the clipboard heavily like copy and pasting.

HTH,
Bas

I tried this on three Windows 2003 machines and saw the same thing
happening. I was not doing any clipboard related action.
