Hmm, don't seem to be having much initial luck with Analysis Services. All
I have attempted is to register a server.

What I've done so far:
I've added my login to the OLAP Administrators Group and restarted.
I've made sure a system DSN exists for my SQL Server.
I've started Analsys Services but on attempting to register a server (I've
entered the System DSN name) I get the message 'Cannot open connection to
Analysis Server 'name'. Network error [internal error] 'name'.'

I've looked at all the troubleshooting and can't seem to find anything at
all. Left with the suspicion that it's security related. I'm not able to
register the FoodMart 2000 demo server either.

The SQL Server is running on the local machine using the Personal Edition on
Windows 2000 though the SQL Server is not shown as local but remote (its
local but accessed as though it were remote), perhaps it is related to this
but I thought this was sufficient to run AS. Any ideas?
