Unable to connect to the registry on server XX, or you
are not a member of the OLAP Administrators group on this

Why am i getting this message when trying to connect to
the olap server within analysis services.

i applied sp3 and it work fine for months then something
happened?!?!?!? i've re-applied sp3 and still the
same...Any ideas anyone ?????

try using your full computer name rather than the
text in "computer description" per your system settings

i was using acres-02603 per the description textbox and
was getting
the same message that you were

when i "unregistered" that server then registered using
acres-02603.lveng.acresgaming.com I was able to connect
