Interesting problem I think.

Analsysi Server 2000 on a Windows 2003 server. Patched up to sp3a.

Server will be running fine for a while (36 hrs??) and then for some
reason we cannot connect to the Analysis Server locally (ie on the same
machine)

Can't telnet to the AS port 2725 nothing.

However, we can connect from a remote machine.

I have set the audit level to 15 and don't see any connection
attempts/refusals in the event viewer.

Are there any logs or diagnostics I can run to help me sort out why I
can't connect.

We have a SQL Server instance on the same machine, and IIS too but the
CPU is not overloaded. I'm stuck!!
