I've recently installed SQL Server 2000 Developer and Microsoft Analysis Services on my Win XP Home computer. When I use Analysis Manager to browse any cube in the FoodMart example database, I get the message: "Unable to browse the cube .... Unspecified error." I also get the following intermittent problems. - Analysis Manager hangs (e.g.when I've tried to delete a database or cube) - when I open Analysis Manager and try to connect to the analysis server, I get the following message: "Unable to connect to the registry on the server or you are not a member of the OLAP Administrators group on the server." I've tried re-installing Microsoft Analysis Services, but the problems remain. Can anyone suggest a cause or solution please? |

This is typically fixed by installing sp3 for analysis services, find it here: http://microsoft.com/sql/downloads/2000/sp3.asp HTH -- Ray Higdon MCSE, MCDBA, CCNA -- "Rob Rutherford" <rob (AT) rcrutherford (DOT) invalid> wrote in message news:bhd5pi$hns$1 (AT) news8 (DOT) svr.pol.co.uk...
