Hi,

I get the same problem nevertheless what client do I use, I always get an
error:
Cannot open the database, version may not be valid

The enviroment is:
Win 2003 server without SP1

Then I installed SP4 for Analysis Services 2000, before there was no SP
applied on AS
After that the error appears at every attempt of connecting to OLAP cubes.

I got an article on MS support site KBID 903030, but I wonder if this is the
case, I even got the hotfix an applied it but it didn't do the update of
files as it is described in article.


Anyone?
