Default Cannot connect to the repository: login failed for 'sa': where do settings live? - 03-13-2006 , 10:36 AM

When I try to connect using Analysis Manager to my server, I get...

Errors occurred while connecting to MYSERVER
Cannot connect to the repository
Analysis server: MYSERVER
error:
Login failed for user 'sa'
Do you still want to register this server?

I'm using SSPI and can view AS_repository tables on myserver.

I can't connect from my workstation or from the server (using terminal
services)

We changed the account that MSSQLServerolapServices uses.

We've uninstalled and re-installed Analysis Services (version 8.00.194).

Where do the Analysis Server settings live? Registry?

Has anyone met this problem?

cheers

nick

From the error message, it looks like the repository connection string is
not using integrated security. To fix it, right click on the server node in
Analysis Manager and choose "Edit Repository Connection String".
