hi!

i don't understand why but wiht my owc11 applictaion i cna only have
informations from the "sales" cube of Foodmart 2000. with other cubes i
can't (either from foodmart neither from my cubes).
that's the error returned:
System.Runtime.InteropServices.COMException(0x8002 8CA1):Number of
arguments
is not valid.
at OWC11.PivotFieldSets.get-Item(Object Index)
(sorry for the traduction form french )

the line code which retruns this error is:

I work with SQL server 2000 and analysis 2000
ASP.NET is a memeber of OLAP Administrator
here is ma connection string:

Make sure that you have the latest version of PTS on the client machine.
Go to your SP3 Analysis Services distribution and look in the
\msolap\install\pts and then run either ptslite.exe (just PTS) or
ptsfull.exe (PTS + full MDAC stack) on the client machine where Excel is
running. Likewise, make sure that your server is on SP3 (remember that there
is a separate download for Analysis Services SP3).

ptslite from my CD, and it told me taht it can't be run because
Analysis Service is already installed.

How is ASP.NET coming into the picture? The error is clearly a .NET error
(COM interop) -- but you appear to be working with OWC and http access to
Analysis Services. These are totally different technologies -- obviously I
am missing something here.
