Hello Vimas,
Nice to meet you again here. I know you's like to remove *.tmp files under
Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL.2\OLAP folder.
I think it depends, you can check timestamp of those files to see if need
them. I suggest that you move them to other location for couple of days,
delete them if don't get any error afterwards. Usually tmp files shall be
removed automatically after AS service stops, it shall be safe to remove
the files but just keeping them in a different folder in case any other
issues.
If there once service crash or permission issues when deleting the tmp
files, the files may exist under the folder.
Please let's know if you encounter issues after you moving the files to a
different folder or deleting the files. Thank you.
