Hi,

I have a virtual cube that have measures from the base cubes. In addition
to the base cube measures I have some calculated members also which are
using the base cube measures.

There are two questions:

1. Is there any option through which I can order the measures in the
virtual cube such that calculated members always appear before the actual
base cube measures.

2. In the cube security, how I can create a role that would restrict the
base cube actual measures but not the calculated member that is using the
actual measure which I don't want this particular role to have access but
other roles can. In the cube security what I have noticed is that when I
restrict the actual base cube measure it also restricts the role from the
caculated members (which I dont want)

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

1. Measures and calculated members are not in the same folder in the cube
editor, so I do not think this i possible. The order of measures and
calculated members depends on the client you use. In ProClarity professional
6.0 they will be listed in alphabetic order by their names.

2. Use the visibility property of the measures and set them to hidden. This
means that no one can see the base measures irregardless of the role they
are mapped to.
