Default Calculated Measures in AMO versus ADOMD - 01-09-2006 , 10:41 AM

From what I've gathered, calculated measures don't appear in the Measures
collection within each Measure Group in AMO. In fact, calculated measures do
not appear anywhere within AMO. Is this correct? Have I missed something?

Calculated measures do appear in the Measure collection in ADOMD. You use to
the .Expression property to determine if it's a normal one or a calculated
one. However, ADOMD is not broken down by the measure group/measure
hierarchy. To determine which measure group the measure is apart of you have
to use .Properties("MEASUREGROUP_NAME").

Comments? Does anyone know of any metadata related to this that I've missed
somewhere?

Thanks,

Hi,

You schuld look deeper into AMO object model (MdxScript, Command,
CalculationProperty).
