a.. How can you tell what are "calculated columns" in a table through the
"data source view" and how can you edit the defined "calculated columns".

simply open the DSV, right click on a table, and then you can add/edit a
calculated column.
this works for tables, or objects returned from the data source, this
doesn't works for named queries, because a calculated column is managed in
the named query himself.
