I'm currently evaluating a change from Cognos Transformer to MS Analyse
Services.

One of the need's is to enable offline cubes. I know it is possible to
create offline cubes which can be produces and open from excel.
BUT, i don't know if it's possible if
Cognos Powerplay can read MS Olap Offline Cubes
or if it is possible to produce Powerplay LocalCubes from Ms Analyse
Services.

Could anybody help me??

Hi Reinhard,

It's been a long time since I used Cognos Powerplay but I think you will
need to use something called Powerplay Connect to connect Powerplay to AS. By
the way, you will not be able tu use many features of AS from the powerplay
front-ent.
