As soon as I merge partition , starting to get this error.
I searched on net for this , but could not find any solution for this
.. Also posted this problem but could not find any answer for this.

Yes, this does look like a bug. I would suggest trying the SP2 CTP2
(available for download now) if you can check this out on a test machine.
There were a couple of index corruption issues that were fixed for SP2 so
hopefully this will be resolved -- otherwise, you should contact product
support.
