Default Browsing cube data - 08-27-2004 , 12:39 PM

Have just downloaded the evaluation of SQL Server Analysis
Services and am unable to browse data after successfully
processing a cube. The message reads as follows:

"Unable to browse the cube 'name of cube'. Unspecified
error."

Could you please advise what might be causing this error
and how it might be rectified.

First make sure that you have updated to Service Pack 3. There are
downloads. One for the RDBMS; one for Analysis Services.

Second, if you still get the error after you've upgraded to SP3, and if you
are have MS Office on the machine, run a repair on MS Office. There is an
old bug concerning Office updating the wrong rll when it installs.
