Default BIP/OWC - inconvenient behaviour BIP/OWC against Excel Pivot Table. Please advice - 08-04-2005 , 01:44 AM

Is there any way to change the following behaviour BIP/OWC to Excel
like?:
BIP: When the row area has more than one dimensions e.g.:
I have measure "number of found defects" and two dimensions
"Time (YQMD)" and "Severity" using BIP I have to walk to the
particular day to see "Severity"`s members and "number of found
defects" against each member of the "Severity" dimension. Such
behaviour is very inconvenient.

In Excel`s Pivot Table everything works fine.
By choosing any (do not have to walk to lowes ones) level of Time
dimension I can see distribution of "number of found defects" measure
against all members of Severity dimension.

Thank you!

Alex
