Default BIP 2003, problems with accessing over the Internet - 07-14-2004 , 10:24 AM

The BIP 2003 is very good. The previous version (using XP), had a 'Thin Client' mode. I had to use this when connecting to my site over the internet. I didn't see a 'Thin Mode' on the new BIP 2003 ? And I get a 'sharepoint' error in my webparts if I try to connect over the internet (with my normal domain login credentials) ?
Everything works OK with BIP 2003 when used on our internal network.
I've found a similar problem with the standard Office 2003 webpart (Pivot Chart), and posted to the OLAP newsgroup (SQL server).
Have read the documentation with BIP 2003, just wanted to know if this was a limitation ? The BIP views contains Pivot Tables and Charts which link to a MS Analaysis Services (2000 sp3) Database Cube.

Hi,
I found the link to BIP on a newsgroup (non-micrsoft). The link lead to the
following site :
http://www.vnc.co.il/Index.asp
However, I checked the site out again today - and they have removed ANY
reference to BIP 2003 ! The product was available from last september and was
a free download. The BIP (for Office XP) was originally provided through a
Microsoft site, which I believe is still available. You may be able to
contact the company and ask them how to obtain the BIP 2003. Hope this helps.
