anyone has tested and compared theimpact of the processors on the market
with AS?
With the current wide range of processors and architectures, what is the
impact on AS, both from a processing view and usage view.

For example, does a Pentium D (dual core) is better then a Xeon and what
about HT processors and finally Dual core + HT processors.
also there are AMD processors, 64FX55, opteron, sempron, 64X2

Gaming benchmarks are not enough ;-)
I don't talk about servers with medium to big OLAP implementations, but
about small deployments (1 to 5Gb cubes).
