Default AS Batch Process - 08-06-2004 , 09:58 PM

I'm new to AS. I can process cubes through Analysis Manager. But how
do you set it up so I can write an MDX script to automate the process
at certain intervals?

you can't process a cube through MDX commands.

you can use the AS process task in DTS
or you can create a script (VBScript)
or search for tools, I don't remember the name, but there is a tool for
processing cubes and provide the ability to process more then 1 cube at the
same time.

Or you could use the DTS OLAP Processing task and do your processing via a
SQL Agent job.
