Hi Experts!

I found some information about backing up OLAP databases from Analysis with
the msmdarch utility. After succesfully backing up a database I found that
the utility saved the backup as a CAB file, in fact a compressed archive.

The machine on wich the Analysis Services runs is automaticaly backed up
every night. Is it nessesary to use the msmdarch utility? When I need to
restore a database, isn't it possible to place back the OLAP data dir?
