Hi,

I continue to have a big issue when I try to setup a dimension in ROLAP
mode.

I have completly deleted my dimension and the associated cube.
I recreate the dimension.
and when I activate the ROLAP mode and if the ROLAP proactive caching the
server crash!

if I activate only the ROLAP mode option and save the dimension, the
dimension switch back to MOLAP mode!!!!!
sometimes the server crash, sometimes no!

My dimension contain a parent-child hierarchy.
if I create the dimension without the parent-child, then the Rolap option is
activated (doesn't works, but activated)

what is the problem?
what can I do?

another point, when I try to change the proactive caching option using
Management Studio, the interface disallow me to save the change if I select
the ROLAP or Real time HOLAP option!
while under visual studio, I can select these options (which cause the
server to crash)
When I try to save under mgmt studio, The error is:
TITLE: Storage Settings
------------------------------
The storage mode for a dimension must be either MOLAP or ROLAP.
