no aggregations (cube dir empty and query performance poor) created when
using holap. switching to molap resolves. a bug or am i missing a setting?
more- fact table 47m rows, 12 dims, using sp1. i appreciate any help.

MOLAP is always going to out perform the other storage modes in data
retrieval... if you got the storage space and don't need real time
updates then I'd go that way every time.

As for why there were no aggregations, that's another story... If
you've run the design storage wizard and told it to create aggregations
then HOLAP & MOLAP should store them on the AS side and ROLAP will
store them on the DB side...
